Working for the common good by enabling people to develop to their personal potential.

Fostering North East, as a part of St Cuthberts Care, has provided a consistently high standard of foster care in North East England for over 50 years and is actively seeking people to become foster carers.

As well as enabling individuals and families to take on a caring role, we also work in partnership with Local Authorities throughout the region to provide homes for children in need of a positive experience of family life.

In our most recent Ofsted inspection we received an overall rating of good, which means that our service provision is strong. The categories of children Enjoying and Achieving and Making a Positive Contribution were rated as outstanding. Download a copy of the full report.

The underlying values, aims and principles of Fostering North East are laid out in our Statement of Purpose.

So whether you've already decided to become a foster carer or just want to find out more, you cannot choose a better team to ask than Fostering North East.
