"As Manager of Fostering North East I have found it enormously rewarding to see the progress children make when placed in the nurturing and stimulating family environments provided by our dedicated and committed foster carers.
The stability, security and a positive experience of family life are what all of our foster carers provide for their foster children.
My main priority is to ensure the successful, sustainable placement of children and young people with our carers. This has been achieved through the implementation of rigorous recruitment procedures, a robust matching process and a high level of support to Foster Carers."
